Community Service of Lecturer

The implementation of Community Service activities carried out by Physics Education Lecturers in the last three years is in accordance with the scientific vision of the Physics Education Study Program. Topics of Community Service activities include: Physics Learning Technology, Physics Learning Evaluation, School Physics Learning, Physics Concept Study. The results of the PkM carried out by the Physics Education Study Program Lecturers are expected to have a long-term impact on the service target so as to produce outputs that can be utilized by the community itself and have high use value.

Roadmap and PkM Group
The implementation of DTPS PkM activities is based on the PkM roadmap. The implementation of PkM DTPS PSPF is adjusted to the following provisions

  1. PSPF and Faculty PkM roadmap
  2. Lecturers and students carry out PKM in accordance with the road map according to the Lecturer’s Research Group.

The formulation of the PSPF roadmap is an implementation of the implementation of the tridarma of higher education as well as alignment with the achievement of the established VMTS PSPF and UPPS. The implementation of PkM DTPS is carried out by adjusting the VMTS of the PSPF, Faculty and PT. This can be seen from the service themes that are in accordance with the PSPF and Faculty PkM roadmap. The number of titles and service funds carried out by lecturers each year is sufficient. Every year lecturers can carry out community service in accordance with the budget for community service funds. Every lecturer at PSPF has the opportunity to carry out PkM through DIPA and LPPM Unila funding. Submission of PkM activities through the Silemlit Unila page (https://silemlit21.unila.ac.id/).

Community service carried out by lecturers also involves students. Students participate as members of the community service program implementation team. In practice, students become part of a team with tasks that are in accordance with their competencies and expertise. Especially for PSPF students, they directly practice their ability to develop community resources during community service programs. This is evidenced through the division and implementation of tasks listed in the team’s organizational structure.

Activities, Relevance, and Student Involvement in Community Services

Relevant community service activities involving students conducted by DTPS in the last three years by lecturers of the Physics Education Study Program amounted to 23 titles of community service. 100% of these activities involved students in their implementation. Sources of funding for community service come from various parties, namely universities themselves, ministries, certain domestic / foreign institutions, and other sources. The source of funds for community service is divided into three sources, namely from foreign financing of 3 services, domestic financing of 1 service, and university financing of 19 services.
